Beachcombers Photography Club

Located in Northern Zululand on the Eastern shores of South Africa, some 180km north of Durban, our club, aptly named Beachcombers due to its close proximity to the stunning Northern Natal coast, was formed in 1999 with a membership of around 30 enthusiastic photographers. Over the years the club has grown to the point where we are approaching a membership count of close to 100.

The club meets once a month at 19h00, on the 1st Tuesday of the month, in Richards Bay at the NSRI base, Meerensee, Richards Bay (click for map).

Visitors are welcome to attend meetings which normally comprise a short talk, followed by a viewing/judging and commentary of images submitted by the members. Various other activities and competitions are scheduled during the year by the club, and the Special Interest Groups (SIG's).

Beachcombers is affiliated with the Photographic Society of South Africa.
